Welcome to the SD&G Legal Clinic
THE CLINIC
The S D & G Legal Clinic, which is located in Cornwall, is proud to be of
service to people in need in our community. It will seek to continue to be
a source of light - the light of justice for this community. May it always
remain a beacon of hope to those who seek that justice.
We are part of a network of 79 provincial legal clinics funded by
Legal Aid Ontario. As a non-profit corporation our operations are
overseen by a community based Board of Directors.
We work with individuals, groups and service providers to make
justice more accessible. We do this through:

CLINIC LOCATION
The Legal Clinic is located at 1 McConnell Avenue on the shores of themajestic St-Lawrence River in the old Cotton Mill plant.
THE HISTORY
Numerous industries opened in
Cornwall in the 1840s. Among the
first major manufacturers to locate
in Cornwall were the Stormont,
Dundas Canada Cotton Mills. The
first successful installation of
electric incandescent lamps enclosed
in glass globes was completed at the
Stormont Dundas Canada Cotton Mills, in the fall of 1882. For more
